We were in hot, humid church just outside of Kampala, Uganda when this little boy climbed up into my friend’s arms and stayed there for over an hour. When he eventually climbed down my friend grew visibly upset and cried quietly. The boy had been trembling and had a fever and likely had malaria. One in five children in Uganda die of the disease every year.
